I switched from godaddy, because the support guy told me the reason things weren’t working right is because wordpress is slow and it was basically my site’s fault. After hiring a developer to investigate, it WAS godaddy, so after some research, I switched to Dreamhost. So far very good, and the site runs MUCH faster than on godaddy, even with like 15 plugins. One time there was a mysql database outting, and I freaked out, but it was something they fixed within a couple hours. Do they have free phone support? NO, but for being strictly chat and email, it is impressively helpful and they save money on labor, so we end up getting better value. Overall, as of now, I am quite pleased.
