Please whatever you do stay way from the Johns’ in MIDPHASE.COM. It looks like everyone’s name is defaulted to JOHN because they donot want you know their really name. MIDPHASE IS RUN BY RUSSIAN MAFIA. THEY SELL YOUR DATABASE INFO.
Since I had exceeded my shared host capacity, I decided to try midphase.Com. This was a nightmare; the support team with admins call JOHN was all incompetent. They were never able to provide me a server that does not have issues.
After so many issues, question about there so call 24×7 supports (this is a lie there is NO 24×7 support from MIDphase), 3 days with no site, I decided to cancel.
I was later convincing by another admin call JOHN to keep my account with them. I did and the 4 days after everything was looking good my site was down. Basically, these thieves requested my server credentials so they can have access to my server, then download my database and file just the later close my account.

Couldn’t rate them high enough. Immeidate support, friendly, efficient, helpful and professional.

LOL @ John… you complete idiot! I’ve been with them over one year, have a vps and a standard website package for my homepage too. you’re talking utter utter rubbish. All hosts experience troubles from time to time, you’re just too inept to realise that. You don’t deserve a website

I used midphase for about a year, and there service just kept getting worse as time went by. My site would lag or be inaccessible every single day during peak time (it wasn’t my site either as maybe 10 people visited it a day). When I asked for support, they would mostly brush me off with comments like “It’s working now, it must have just been a little lag…” Stay away from these guys, they are no good…

I’m sorry I cannot provide any information about my business’ website and email. I would just like to say that Midphase is probably the worst web hosting service we have ever used. My company has been using Midphase for the 5-6 months, and I have called/mailed/submitted tickets for website/email downtime approximately 3 times each month. This is definitely not reliable hosting. I am not referring to short 5 minute downtimes, but instead from 20 minutes up until an hour(earlier today). Through all this I have been very patient, treated the techs with respect, but it did little to change the amount of server down time. Each time they would just tell me the staff is working on it, and I have no choice but to wait another 20 minutes until they fix the issue. Finally they switched us off to another server, which seemed stable until.. their core networking component goes down. It gives me the idea they have only a single facility and no backup server set up for these situations. Besides this, it is always difficult to get a response via telephone. Most of the time it is busy, and when we do get connected, we’re put on hold. I understand that our calls are generally during peak hours, but there are plenty of hosts much more reliable.

We’re reluctant to leave because when Midphase hosting is up the FTP server, website, and mail service are very fast. However, we just can’t accept such frequent hosting and mail server down time.

I would personally avoid signing up with MidPhase unless your ok with tossing money away. The host constantly has errors with the mysql databases as well the billing tech support is horrible….99% up time? I think not…more like 60% at best.

Midphase is by far the absolute worse host I have ever experienced. My websites would be inaccessible many many times during the day. I would email support and they would always say there was a problem with something and it is fixed now, well nothing was ever fixed. After going through this maybe 5 separate times I asked they move me to a different server and they did. This didn’t fix a thing, the same problems kept occuring. I finally removed my sites from there and got myself another hostgator account. I have about 6 accounts with Hostgator now and highly recommend Hostgator for sure.

I was only with Midphase around half a year before deciding to leave. They were ok. Not the best, but not bad either. Sites loaded fast, but experienced more downtime than I was willing to accept so moved on.
